Abu Dabbab Beach is one of the best beaches in the world and is ranked third among the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is also the best-known sandy beach in the Marsa Alam area, a partially enclosed bay in the shape of the letter U. It is one of the largest sandy lower bays containing seaweed in the region and includes one of the best sand beech trees on its westernmost coast.

It is protected from the open sea on its northern and southern sides by coral reefs that expand slightly. Near the eastern mouth of the bay, the bay is therefore somewhat protected and its depth slowly decreases as it advances towards the sea, but averages 15 meters.

However, there is a sharp drop of about 30 to 40 meters east of the Gulf and the coral reefs. It must also be noted that visibility is not always good due to the sandy bottom inside the Gulf. To overcome this problem, divers and swimmers must dive together at slightly separated distances, and when one of them discovers any… Something that directs others in their direction. However, it should not be done in a way that scares turtles or dugongs

but Abu Dabbab is well known as one of the few places in the world where you can sometimes swim and dive with the endangered sea cow, and Abu Dabab Bay is it Many fish, sea turtles, and rare coral reefs, making it suitable for swimmers and divers of all skill levels. However, the marine coral reefs are more suitable for divers and should only be visited with a professional guide. Abu Dabbab is close to most of Marsa Alam’s hotels and is located on a road off the main coastal road between hotels between SolMar Abu Dabbab Hotel and Marsa Alam Hilton, 34 kilometers north of Marsa Alam City, about 35 kilometers south of the airport. For those who like, you can also find the entrance hidden behind a row of parked buses and minibusses, and behind it you will see the beach, often crowded with sunflowers. And swimmers, but don’t let that stop you
